I’m starting a new project in May at work. A huge project. One where I’m going to have a ton of responsibility, that will be seen be everyone in the company. Which means I can’t fuck up. It also means that I probably won’t be able to take a lot of time off from beginning to end, or even think of going anywhere but to the Cape for a long weekend here and there.
Therefore, I keep thinking about how I want to travel before then. To leave the state, leave the country, whatever. Would it be weird to do that alone though? To just pack up and go somewhere for a few days? Where I can relax, see some sights and have it be drama-free?
